The Rural Housing Coalition of New York, Inc. is a network of rural housing professionals who work toward a common goal: to design, develop, finance, build and manage affordable housing to meet the diverse needs of rural New Yorkers Members share their knowledge and expertise to attain this goal.
The NYS Rural Advocates is an advocacy organization supporting Rural Preservation Companies (RPCs) and the broader community of rural affordable housing and community development practitioners. NYS Rural Advocates is devoted to advocacy and lobbying state and federal governments to promote affordable housing in small towns and rural places in New York State.
RRC administers AHC home improvement grants, collaborates on
a variety of CDBG projects, provides first-time homebuyer education,
youth/teen financial education programs, three community gardens,
and a senior citizens safe homes program.
